Choosing a set of golf clubs can take days. Some golfers even take months to choose a set of new clubs. They search the reviews, looking for the best clubs for the money. But all they really need to do is follow some simple guidelines.
If you are a beginner, start with a used set of clubs. The brand really doesn’t matter. You need to determine if you like the game, and if you are going to stick with it before you make a major investment in a new set of clubs. Think about how often you play, and what your budget it before you make a choice. If golf is really important to you, and you play several times a week, or even at least once each week, an investment in top of the line clubs may be warranted. On the other hand, if you only play once a month or once a year, a smaller investment makes more sense.
